Patch notes, 20 October: Highscores pages, progress bars and a simulator button
2026-10-20
Every player on the Highscores, progress bars in the side bar, Open simulator on spy reports, Transport and Deploy from your own planets, alliance chat alerts and a few fixes.
Here's everything that changed on 20 October. Most of it comes straight from your feedback in the beta.
Production figures at the right speed
The output figures on the Production page (the bars, the table and a mine's specs) showed what a mine makes at 1x speed, so in a 2x universe like Beta they showed half the real amount. They now show the true figure. Your mines were always making the full amount: only the numbers on screen were wrong.
Every player on the Highscores
The Highscores used to show the top 100 and leave everyone else to the search box. Every player and every alliance is now listed, 100 to a page, with page buttons above and below the list. Show me in the list jumps to the page you're on and lights up your row.
Click a rank
Wherever a player's rank is shown, on your Dashboard, a profile, a planet card on the Starmap or an alliance's member list, click it to open the Highscores on that player's page with their row lit up.
Alliance tags on the Highscores
Click a player's alliance tag on the Highscores to open that alliance's page. Opening another alliance from elsewhere in the game, such as an alliance name on the Highscores or a profile, now shows that alliance. Before, it could show your own.
Progress bars in the side bar
Production, Infrastructure, Technology, Dock and Defences now show a progress bar under their button while something is being built there, just like the Tutorial's. The bars follow the planet you have selected, and Technology shows your current development wherever it's running. On phones they're in the bar along the bottom.
Open simulator on spy reports
Spy reports and scan reports have a new Open simulator button. It opens the battle simulator in a new tab with the report filled in as the defender, and your own Weapons, Shielding and Armour on the attacking side. Add the ships you want to send, then press Simulate.
Probes send what you have
If you've set more probes than the planet you're on has, the Probe buttons on the Starmap now send all it has and tell you so, instead of refusing. With 2 set and 1 in orbit, the 1 goes.
Transport and Deploy from your own planets
Clicking one of your own planets or moons on the Starmap now gives you Transport and Deploy. Each opens Command with the target and mission already picked. They're greyed out on the planet you're on.
Alliance chat alerts
The Alliance button now shows a number when there are chat messages you haven't read, and so does the Chat tab. Opening the chat clears it. A newly pinned announcement counts too.
New colonies are called Colony
A new colony is now simply called Colony. The number it used to get counted every planet in the universe, so it said nothing about your own colonies. Colonies you already have keep their names.
Pages open at the top
A page now always opens at its top. Before, it could open part-way down, as far as the last page had been scrolled.
